she's sexy . . . this is the suggestion you'll hear from 95% of the people on this site "you should lower it" but if you like your ride heigth and don't want to feel every bumpb leave it stock heigth. a WS6 or a RAM AIR H.O. from SLP would look really good though www.slponline.com

Mods all depend on your personal wants (speed or looks). Those of us that like to race give up a little comfort in ride to knock off a few tenths in the 1/4 mile. The best thing to do is tell the members on here what you are thinking and they will help you along. Welcome to a great site.

Welcome. Great looking car! Love black, just hard to keep clean. Not sure what to add. These guys have you set up well to start. Once you get the basics done..I would HIGHLY suggest a higher stall torque converter, it will be an entire new car with one. Above all...have fun learning, and enjoy!

Ok, I'll give my extra $.02...Mostly your motor is an air pump. The more air you can get in and out easily, the more power you will make. Hence the Lid, Cat-Back Exhaust, and Headers. Beyond that, there are ways to make better use of the power you already make (such as my suggested torque converter), gears, tires, etc. A converter will allow you to mash the gas from a stop and it will launch ALOT harder (with good tires)...You can easily give 6 speed cars hell all day, and it makes the car a blast to drive. And even further beyond those type parts comes suspension work to give it better traction. Check this out...it should help. https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-ls1-owners-newbie-tech/361959-so-you-wanna-fast.html

Yes, the airpump analogy...excellent. You help it breathe in and out and it'll do the rest.
