I've been reading the messages for a while, finally signed up.

Just did my 2nd bolt on yesterday Magnaflow Quad catback, the other is K&N FIPK.

If I don't post anything its cause I'm too busy reading trying to decide what to do next to my poor 2000 Formula.

From one Marylander to another -- Welcome! Like Andrew asked, where are you from in Maryland?

I live in Damascus, work in Beltsville...tend to go to f-body gatherings in Virginia (anywhere, lol).

Pics of your ride would be nice too.

I'm on the eastern side of the Chesapeake on Kent Island.

I'm trying to decide what to do next.... was thinking SFC but after that? Do any of you have LT's? if so how do you deal with emissions?

I need to take some pics, the only one I happen to have is from a rainy day... figure that one out?

Welcome, Dave. I'm in your hometown pretty often since my parents have a place there.

Ford girl - I'm always in Damascus, last time was last night.

LOL -- I was driving around in Damascus last night too, lol -- I was in the Blazer though. I see F-bodies all the time in Damascus, I do the "peace" thing and sometimes it gets returned, most times people look at me like I'm nuts, lol. The b/f owns Sam's Custom Auto Body right in Damascus, so I'm there often (it's beside Cedar Grove Automotive, behind the Damascus Comm Bank)

I spend a bit of time in Germantown too -- never know what I'll be in though. I try not to bring the f-bodies out too much because I hate to park them, lol.

Last time I went into Pep Boys at I had some woman park too close to my Blazer and she left a small dent and chip of paint in the door. I got her back - but if it had been one of my other cars, she would have gotten much worse, and I'm a pretty understanding person most of the time, lol.

First, let me apologize to Formula Dave for hogging his thread, my bad...and believe it or not, out of all five of my f-bodies, not one is an LT1, lol! Got two LB9s, one 3800, one 355 carb'd and an LS1. Did have an LT1 for sale a while back out of a donor car though. Never heard it run. AND...I don't make it out toward Kent Island very often, unless it's when I pass by on the way to Ocean City or Chestertown.

Now, to answer WeberJE -- it's holding up beautifully! Drove her for about 7,500 miles after the resto then the brakes started shimmying a bit too much, so just replaced those and got a tune up...she's cherry! I swear, I go out on the back side of 108/New Hampshire Ave in the evenings on the way home and can't wait for these two nice passing zones that are about 1/4 mile each -- I pull her down to third and hit 120 in fourth before I have to slow down for a slight turn and do it again, lol. The whole time I keep thinking -- 120 under 4000 rpms and I've got two gears to go...life is good! Check out the pics on my cardomain site -- I've got some w/o the snow.

HA! I used to like you!

How's it going Michelle - I posted something for you and/or Tim to do on f-bodyhideout. I may try to make it out to MIR on the 18th, but don't think I'll be doing any racing...then again...

Hey, Formula Dave -- you should come out to MIR. It's a TNT day -- if nothing else, you'll get to meet a bunch of really nice people who love their f-bodies.

I have LT's along with almost anyone who put after-market headers on their car. You can get cats welded in the system if you want. But from what i understand they don't put 1996 and newer cars on the rollers. You should just have to get the emissions codes deleted so the SES light does not come on.

Yep, I am not running cats - 02 sensors deleted. I'm really going to enjoy rolling through emissions. They're going to smell my car and be all surprised I passed.

Ford Girl - That's right next to Jimmie Cone! If I were you, I'd be getting ice cream all the time.
