New to the forum, from Ohio
I'm familiar with the forums from all the great help and knowledge people gave when my friend was trouble shooting some issues he was having with his 383 LS1 98 TA.
For the past close to two years now I've been driving, modifying, spraying and racing my 06 Trailblazer SS. Now that I'm finally working one job again instead of two I will have sometime to come on the forums and talk, plus I have plenty of questions for an up coming project that I am planning. Hope some of you can give me the same great advice you offered my friend in the past.
Over the past years my SS has went through a few changes. Dead stock it was running a 14.03@96.77mph after hand porting the TB, switching to a K&N filter, taking the silencers off the intake piping, netted me 13.86@99.61mph after that I decided to go bottle fed, this was getting me into the
12.60's until I put a spyder AF monitor on it and realized were I was hurting at. Next came colder plugs and some 110 octane, getting me a best of 12.37@112.54mph on a 150 shot. Plus this without ever tuning it. Just watched the Spyder AF monitor and ran a different mix of fuel to compensate.
I'm looking to trade my current SS in on a RWD 08, planning alot of different and new stuff for that one, heads, cam, e-fan, headers, 3400 rpm stall. Thats still on the drawing table but if I go that route I'm gonna have plenty of questions for all of ya.
Thanks for having such a great site.
