new here and trying to make a decision well i new to the sight, been trying to so alittle research on lsx cars. one of my friends totaled my supercharged mustang gt and im trying to decide on wether i want to by a friends 03 cobra or get a 2001 z06 because there both about the same price. i know this is an lsx sight but what do yall think would be a better by the z06 would be stock and the cobra has just about everything except a kenne bell which i would add if i bought. any recomendations would be helpful thanks

Yeah if it were me I would check the insurance on both of them and see which one was less. Not saying that would be my deciding factor, but it would play a part in my decision for sure. Either way they are both sick cars.

My only gripe with teh termi is the curb weight.
The z06 is much more exotic and a drivers car. Depends on what you're plans are. If its drag stuff, I'd get the termi

the vette is much lighter weight, with a set of stage 2 ls6 heads and a nice cam (at least a tr224) or slightly larger plus headers and cat back it would take alot for the heavier mustang to keep up if you asked me. just my 2 cents
Thats exactly what I was thinking. Test drive them both and that might help you decide. How important is a back seat? Insurance price could play a factor as well. Ask yourself what you want a car for. . . drag racing or handling or both. Decide after you have decided what you want from your next car.

i think the cobra was more than the corvette on insurance, from what i remeber the vette was cheaper than my 01 gt convertible. im 21 by the way. what i might do is just get a frc and build it up from there cause they are cheaper than a z06
