LOL
Got back from MD Saturday night.
The car is not the same color but I think the right color??!!
I got to the house and was heart broken that it wasn’t blue green chameleon. I picked it up any way because it was very clean and very well maintained (the seller gave me every receipt for every oil change/repair since he bought it in 2000). It drove smooth and very strong. After I got it home I started looking at the pictures from the first one and this car is closer to the color of my old car than the blue green chameleon 99 v6 I have.
We made the trip from DC to Detroit with no problems at all.
So here is the plan.
The LS1 bird is going to be my summer driver. Next winter Im going to rebuild the LS1 with 6.0l heads, turbo cam, stout push rods, strong timing chain, upgraded oil pump, a turbo system, fuel pump, better injectors, and a perfect power smt6.
The v6 bird is going to be my winter driver and the girlfriends summer car.
Next summer its going to be getting an L32 series III supercharged 3800, intense 1x cam package and intense 60lb injectors. When I have the money to upgrade the ls1 rear end to a moser ford 9" I am going to take the one with 4:10's out of the ls1 bird and put it into the v6 bird.
So from nothing but faded memories of my old 98 bird to a winter and summer firebird in less than 2 months....
Man I must be lucky or something !!
