hello. New LS1tech member with lots of questions :) hello all,
My name is Josh and I own a paint and body shop in tampa bay, fl. I have a 98 fullsize chevy that I am building for show and go. It is fully bagged and body dropped on a custom frame from the fire wall back. Nothing has been left stock except for the seats in it. It was originally a vortec 4.3 litre. I have just purchased a 5.3 litre vortec motor for it out of a 03 silverado. I am looking to get much info on this motor. I am looking to make it run really well with some go but mostly I want it to sound really nice. Looking for a big loping sound while idling with out worry about stalling. I didnt know where to start then a friend suggested this site.
Sorry for the long intro but thanks in advance for the info. I do know how to use the search function but would still like some pointers by asking some new topics.
