new LT1 owner from MA

Howdy. Just bought a 96 Trans Am with an LT1 and T56 over the weekend. Quasar blue. Just thought I'd say hi, seems like a great site.

welcome. this is a fantastic site for us lt1 owners too. i am curious. why is it that some trans am have the raised spoiler and others(like yours) are not. I thought that was more a European model thing only.

i graduated from wentworth in 04. i better not see that TA up there cause it will fall victim to the boston bump .

congrats! love the color. The spoiler you have is the base, or 'formula spoiler' even though its T/A. Ive seen many with it, I hear the raised 't/a' spoiler was a $300 option

I'm a huge fan of the color. I seem to have some weird options on this car, especially with it being such a rare color as well.

Oh cool. I go to Northeastern, out on co-op right now. What was your major at WIT? My roommate graduated in 04? or 05? I think. Civil Engineering.

Car won't be up there all the time. I work on the road as a PI, so the TA can be a bit flashy at times, but I want to get it more time on the road than weekends, seeing as how I dont have weekends most of the time. I'm splitting time between the Trans Am and my Regal GS.
