Default first post - newbie

Im a new poster, I just baught a 96' Torch Red LS1 Convertable Corvette (23k miles on it- 2nd owner).

I had a 2000 PT Cruiser LE.... too much of a family car, hated the fwd, hated it..., lol.

Then I had(have) a 2001 Chrysler Prowler... Like the look, performance is a medium, wish it had a little more kick to it though..

My grandfather had a 84' and a 92' Vette so he kind of talked me into it.

Insurance sucks for me being 17 =/

But what sould I do first to the vette to give it some extra HP?

Maybe it's a missprint??
97 was the first LS1 in 96 they had LT1 (L98), unless it was a prototype
