It seems to be the people who "expect" something for nothing that you have problems with.
Frost didn't give me that option......and I offered to pay for shipping both ways......I didn't realise that hooking the pcm to your tuner and looking at it for five minutes was that big of a deal........Frost is also pissed at me cause I let everyone know that he was getting sued by his former company he worked before opening the tuning company he has now but he failed to mention that ..........typical

Seriously?!

You mean he didn't want to take his time to look at someone else's mess, tell you what's wrong with it, take the time to go get a shipping label and mail it back to you for free?

Time is money and if you didn't offer to pay for his, then you have no right to bitch about not getting a service for free.

Reminds me of the asshats that came into circuit city wasting my time for an hour or more then going to walmart to buy the **** even though we could match the price.

It is no ones business but his and the other company what is or is not happening.

You are a troll and need to keep your thoughts to yourself.

I "gave him the option" because he is paying customer.

I have never been sued and I am not being sued now. You are lying.

How can you HONESTLY be mad that I won't work for free for you?

All of these are very legitimate comments. The only way to tell if your tune is perfect is through extensive data-logging and track and dyno time. I have tried (foolishly) to "fix" a bad tune before, and I will never do that again. As for the third quote, YES.

Clg82, you've said your piece (multiple times). Having done so, please do not post again in this thread. Thanks.

No offense...but you're a meathead...if he tunes something HIMSELF and messes it up, I'm pretty sure he'd fix it...why should he fix someone elses mistake. I never bother looking at anyone elses tunes, at most I say "wow this runs like crap" and just flash right over it with a bone stock file, and then tune from a clean slate...nothing worse than fixing someone elses disaster...oh wait there is...fixing it for free for no reason...

You were warned by a Mod to stop your sponsor bashing, who would not work for free for you. Maybe after a week vacation you will chill out. If you continue after your vacation you're gone for good.

FWIW, I've retuned 2 of Frost's mail orders (for engine builds, not because of faulty work) and his tunes were pretty damn spot on for the mods done to the cars at the time.

Of course an mail order tune isn't going to be perfect for every application, it's impossible and you shouldn't blame the tuner. Just because Frost, or anybody else commands a PCM to give a 12.8 A/F, doesn't mean the car is going to do that. Which has nothing to do with him, or his tuning abilities. I've had cars that required a commaned 11.5 A/F in the PE table, just to reach 13.0 on the street.

For the money, Frosts stuff is damn good.

I haven't had time to look through the forums recently so I failed to comment on this post in a timely manner. As Frost's former employer I can definitively say that we are not now and have never in the past sued Steve. Nor have we stated or implied that we had taken this action or planned to take this action to anyone.

Though we do not work with Steve at this time, I do not wish to see our company's name used for false testimony nor do I wish to have anyone else's reputation tarnished on the basis of false information.
