I still get mail about the ape bankruptcy... I know its been a while , but here is what Jelly proposes to pay some of the members and sponsors after STEALING over 315,216 ( thats only what was reported to the bankruptcy court ).

Anyone that employs or hangs out with that worthless POS should be branded a fellow POS. They can't have a legit business if he is involved.
I still hear about that whole APE mess myself every few months. I still remember the guaranteed 2 week build times or you got your engine for free!
Sad but he was supported by some of the moderators as well that he probably shoveled some free **** to and had these ficticious fast turnaround and time lines that were total bs.
I had a few customers leave us since their stuff was taking too long and I gave them their money back and then APE raped them right away!
Oh well I had warned them. There's always someone who will do a crappier job for cheaper and will do it faster as well. ...or won't do it at all but will take the money.

Thankfully it was a while ago now and it was AP Engineering in Detroit.
It was headed by a guy that had worked at Roush and Katech and Diamond Pistons.
You can do some searches on here but it was a few years ago and is mostly in the hands of the legal system now.
