How can some people sleep at night, taking huge sums as deposits and final payments then holding back delivery so long. You cannot tell me they prey on the fact that large distances seperate them from their clients.
Really there have been too many stories about this particular supplier for it not to be true.
I tend not to agree with this type off lynching on the internet but in this case were we are not even talking about warranty or them refusing to fix it . But actually taking money and not delivering the product.

I would not blame it on Nick or Wade as none of us really know the story of what is going on behind the scenes. I have had my problems with ARE as well and have talked to them, probably waited longer then most without ever bad mouthing or saying anything. Things took time to get here with both of them but I know ARE is trying to clean things up, they are a respected shop that has built some of the fastest cars around and did alot for motors.

My ARE 422 engine arrived early this week 
Nick got things moving for me. Engine was well packed, and got some other goodies thrown in the crate (caps, T-shirts etc). Airfreight was picked up as promised by ARE.
Also thanks to all on this forum who posted in supporting me.

Thanks for posting Klaus, I know it will take time to restore trust in most and maybe none in some but we are dedicated to making all thigs right. I have been straight out with any I have talked with since back at ARE. All the guys at the shop are delivering what I have been preaching on the boards as of late, it's a team effort all the way
