Big Thanks to Jakes Performance
Big Thanks to Jakes Performance I had a need for a tranny with a great rep, and that would not take a **** on me after a few seasons. After tons of research, and testimonials, I went with Jakes Performance. He has a no bullshit approach about his products and a good bit of R&D invested into the trannies as well as customs valvebodies and trans brakes.
I called Jakes and ordered a stage 5 with a D3 trans brake. He did not have any early cores in stock for the Stage 5 and some of the billet pieces that are included in it, and I was in a rush. So he gave me a new style core (which is usually more) at no additional cost.
I also wanted the trans to come out of the box basically ready to go into the car. So he was able to cut the ears, and provide me some great looking black fittings which I will be attaching Teflon lines to later on when my cooler comes in. I also asked if he would make sure it came painted. No problem is all he said anytime I asked for something.
I asked 5 million questions and he took the time (although he was busy as **** and backed up) to take care of me personally.
I then referred him another customer (friend of mine with a TT TA build).
Point is......top notch service, and were lucky hes a sponsor.
P.S. he forgot to send a dipstick and tube.....just checked.....its going to be delivered to me tomorrow per UPS. no additional charge.
