CARID bad experience
I just had a really unsatisfactory experience ordering a part from CARID. I read all their policies (including the cancellation policy) before placing an order. I placed an order Sunday afternoon and then nearly immediately changed my mind and cancelled it. Their system showed "cancellation requested". I also sent a message to their "chat" even though they claim that is open and manned 24/7 (it is not). I watched the site for part of the next day and then saw that my order had been shipped "from the manufacturer". Now CARID says they couldn't inform the manufactuerer fast enough. Really looks like they didn't try. They say I can return the part for about a 50% refund after shipping. YES - I know that part of this is on me for changing my mind but they go on and on about their wonderful cancellation policy that they clearly can't make work. Back to Rock Auto for me.
