someone had springs break with .595" lift?! that would have been your fault for using single coil springs that are estimated to work to .600". with lift that high and springs as inexpensive at the 612's, did you REALLY think that they'd last with an apparent .005" to give?!

Before you start throwing around blame, realize a couple things first:

1. if a spring is rated for .600" whether its single or dual coil, it should handle .600" lift

2. Who is to say that CM isnt recommending these shitty springs with cam packages? maybe they are, so how is it the customers fault.

I hope you dont encounter faulty parts with your car, especially when its not the user's fault. Pretty stupid comments you made there...

not stupid comments, just common sense. even if a double spring were rated at .600" I wouldnt push the envelope with .595". The MOST lift I would have used with the 612's would have been .575-.580" MAx...but thats me just be being safe. when it comes to valvetrain, its better to be a bit more on the safe side.

You dropped, what, $100 on a set of springs, retainers and locks and expected .595" lift? C'mon now...you ALWAYS get what you pay for. Sure they're decent springs, but your nuts if you want to push them all the way to .600"

Think again. They sold the valvetrain as an integrated package. Probably no CM's fault, either. Probably a bad batch of springs. At least they are backing up their product.

was it a 612 or a 618?, i dont see a 612 on their site. i am 99% sure i was told the springs i got were good for 620lift. even if they were listed for 600max lift then why wouldn't i run a 595 lift cam.

anyways, the good news is cmotorsports took good care of me.
