Well, I posted in the other thread, I have given up and contacted my cc company to dispute the charges. It shouldn't take 5 months to get a cam shaft.

I may even sell my intake, heads and tb. I am not sure I want to keep anything on my car thats from him right now. He has really let me down.

I need to get his *** on the phone now too. HE just finished up my car (when I say he I mean he swapped my heads and my cam) and I brought it over to Cartek for a tune. The car only put down 410rwhp when Jay told me it'd put down like 430-440. I'm happy with 410 but for heads that are supposed to flow 318cfm @ 600 lift I'd have been better off keeping my old heads and stuffing a bigger cam in. I've been trying to get a hold of him and he hasn't called me back. I'm really starting to get angry.

410 isnt shabby, but what do you mean he JUST did work on your car, when did this occur and do you know if he is working on peoples head orders?

Thanks, already checking them.

Bye bye $2000.
The number on his web site has been disconnected. So I am pretty sure we got ripped off.

Guys I went through this myself with JPR and I can tell you that if you want some decent heads quickly than a good shop to use is APE. I know they are not the most popular as far as heads are concerned but you will not have to wait and you can always get in contact with them and I bet they have the heads in stock for whatever you need + some good flow #s to match.

Call me an APE nutswinger but give em a call and you'll see that from experience Im just trying to help some brothers out.

Hey Mike,

Not to be a d*ck or anything, but even though I'm sure APE does good work, most of these people in this thread including myself are already out a fair sum of money for Absolute heads and don't have any more to be shelling out another 2 grand on top of what they already paid for another set of heads. If I was a rich guy I may have already shelled out some more for another set of heads to tide me over until I could get my absolute ones back. Instead my car has been sitting in the garage with the hood up with no insurance and hasn't run in about a year now.

IMO you need to find his address and send him registered letters to start a paper trail. Once you do that I think it's easier to have the police get involved.

Indeed. If I never get my heads from Jay, then I'm never getting heads for my car. It took me a LONG time to save the funds $$ necessary to purchase the heads, and even a LONGER time to convince my wife that they were "needed". If my Stage-II LS6 heads are never returned to me from Jay, then my car will forever have stock LS1 heads. Its pretty simple; I can't afford to spend another chunk of change on the same item........

no problem,, sorry to butt in. I just feel sad in my stomach when I read all this stuff cause it happened to me. I lost my money and never got a good set of heads and infact I was lied to about my heads and my tune from JPR which caused me to have to scrap my stock motor completely. So not only did I lose my head money but I also had to buy a new longblock. Talk about shitty!!

Believe me, I understand. That is definitely shitty. I know people have been bringing up JPR in respect to this situation, but I don't think Jay will let something like that happen, I have to believe that. Call me an optomist, but I just can't fathom someone that has been so good to me in the past just giving everyone including myself the finger. I'm going to try and remain hopeful even though I admit the situation appears grim.

BSP says tha Jay plans to make everyone whole.

I do feel that Jay will try to make it all right, but I am very concerned.
