Absolute Speed update Anybody getting a response from Jay yet? I havn't tried to call lately and just wondering if anyone has gotten through to him. Still no word on my cam yet

absolute I recieved an email 11-30-2004 and said that my motor was on a skid and ready to go. My throttle body came last week and my LSX arrived yesterday.
Still waiting on the bulk of my order. Hopefully my motor will be shipped by friday or I will have to take action.

Yep I got the same response as I did last week, 2 weeks ago, last month, 2 months ago etc.
You guessed it NOTHING.
I am defentially gonna have the bitches flow tested if I ever get them to make sure he did a better job porting then he did with C/S.

No response from him whatsoever in the past few months. His voice mail system has been full for months so he's obviously not checking that. No response to any of my emails for the past few months either. Maybe I should not have paid him in full up front, huh? I went with Jay on the recommendation of several people that swore he was the best at what he does. They forgot to add "if he ever does it". I'd just really like to hear from him every couple of months or so. I've heard some horror stories that he's actually running right at 2 years behind right now. I thought that had to be BS but I'm beginnning to believe it now. I placed my order and paid for a set of ported Stage II 6 liter heads back in July. I'm an old man. I sure hope he gets the heads to me before I die.

After much 'net searching, I think I have found the shop. I will call it tomorrow (Friday) to verify - and if its indeed Jay's shop - I will provide the info in this thread and/or to PSJ. No sense posting a wrong phone #, only to have 50+ of us mistakenly call some old lady Friday....

BTW, I bought my SS from a cool guy that lived on Long Island in Holtsville. He's since moved to MI. He's getting involved in the search for Jay through some of his buddies back home. He's the one that recommended Jay to me and actually went to see him back in August. At that time he was promised that my heads would be done in a month. 2 at the most. I'll post whatever I find out as well. I sure hope this is all an honest mix up and not something else. Have a good one everyone.

I PM'ed the info to PSJ, and he has contacted the shop. See PSJ's posting in the other thread (see sticky).
Hope it helps us get somewhere.
