Dude i was there when he took my car apart...im not say you guys dont do good work...you just didnt for me....and if you tried to fix my problems fine, im happy with that. I got a story every time i brought the car back that you could not find anything. Then i bring it to another shop and they find more then one thing. And not not everything was f'ed up. Just a some things that im stuck with. Still what i said must have hit a nerve. I was expressing what happened to me. I dont mean to get offensive but some of us dont have thousands of dollars to get things done and then redone. I did not get the cam i ask for, i did not get the headers i ask for (and franky that i paid for), the tune..what ever i got another, and the y-pipe, there was no excuse for putting a plugged up used one and charging me for a new one. I could have came to your shop and put up a fit but i didnt. I went about my business and went to another reputable shop that gave me what I expected. I made my own y-pipe that fits perfectly. Im not going to get into the dyno numbers because each dyno is different and i dont want to start an argument over that, but i will say this; they dynoed a stock z06 right defore my car and it put down 360+ rwhp...my car made 406 (up 21) so it seems to be that the dyno is right inline, granted yours may be off. I was 4 tenths quicker with a differnt tune and street tires, which another arguement can be started for that. Again i work hard for my money and when i spend it on my car i dont want it to be a waste. About $3000 of my hard earned money was wasted by you guys in your error and you know what that fine, live and learn. The money i spend at Rapid has not been wasted since my car run great and fast. You guys may build great cars but you didnt build me one....Mikey did. If you dont like when people share bad experiances, then dont give them.

the way i look at it as an owner of a busness (not a car one) is, you cant please everyone.
its unfortunet, but impossable.
cartek has more goods then bads. one person out of 100 may be dissatified. not bad.
I have heard all good things about rapid as well, and mike seems like a great guy, and lucky for you, he worked out very well.
And for what its worth. im sure Rapid isnt hurting, they probably dont even know this post is here. customers arn owners.

I have done no business with you or Rapid but get a grip dude you dont come on to a forum and bash another sponsor like that.

 

Another thing....Rapid does not even know who originally put the car together. I bought it there for Mikey to check it out. The way i look at it is when you have a shop that bad mouths another shop then you know that shop is just as bad as the one in question. Honestly, I think that Mikey thinks i did the work myself! When i asked Mikey about your shop all he said is that you guys have some fast cars. He did not say one bad thing about you guys. I guess that Cartek is one shops that bad mouths other shops. Is it that you guys are actually hurting for business? You know, maybe i should show him this thread and show him what you guys think of him.

I was more then happy with how my car turned out when I first met CARTEK and was just a customer!

Not to mention that car does EVERYTHING in house! Makes the world of difference when putting a pkg together!

Damn...i am glad i looked at this post...kinda late lol i thought everyone was done posting on my thread lol...i think i will try Rapid i am going to buy one of his motors anyway he does good work and the prices are good too. Most of the ppl around where i live go to Rapid anyway and nothing but good feedback
