I'd also recommend getting a ported TB from Bo White. His port work is top notch, and he's a great guy to deal with.

What about Bauer? I purchased one off him last year and had it in a week. Great results.

What he used that excuse last summer!! He just told me that a month ago. Some family member is in the hospital. What a joke! I will NEVER do business with him again, and I suggest everyone else do the same.

No doubt on that. If you are goin to go with someone on the board thats not a sponsor- go with someone that has made a good rep, cypher has done that as well as I have. But I think we need to stick with the Jantzer theme to find out whats up on his deal.

I researched a good bit on here before I decided to purchase a ported TB from Bo. I was planning on going with Janzter, but after I read all of the negative feedback that he had I decided against it. From what I gathered his turn around time is terrible, and he always lies to people about when they will get their stuff. I've heard he does quality work, and the pictures I've seen of his work look great, but the poor customer service kind of negates the quality of his work.

I have seen were Jantzer has posted else were on this site and has told everyone that they will get there TBs/money pretty much. I am sure he has seen this thread or at least heard about it so maybe he'll post up. I have seen were he/members of family has been under the weather but not sure if thats what is really effecting his work. There has been so many be fishy lately like JPR-Absolute that people are starting to be afraid to order anything now but do your homework and stick what has been consistent on return and you should be fine.

I had to wait a while to get my TB from Jantzer, but I got it in about a month and my core check back in about 2 weeks. I'm happy with what I got, I'd rather have him take his time and do it right then send out a substandard product. I don't know him, but I imagine he has a 40+ hr/week job and this is his side business and he can only dedicate so much time per week to work on his products. If you're in a rush to get one done, then go with a sponsor whose full time job is to make LS1 parts. If you can wait and want a good job at a fair price then consider Scott. I know how much we want parts on our doorstep the day after we pay for them, but sometimes it just can't happen.......

Well i still haven't recieved my throttle body from Jantzer. Sent the money 2-14-05, I told him i really needed to get this cam in and he assured me the TB would be here 2-21-05. What a suprise it didn't show up, I talked to him 2-22-05 and he assured me it would be here 2-25-05 and that he shipped it 2-22. The thing that pisses me off is i send someone $270, they cash the money order and now I'm sitting here with no product after they assure me it will be here on a certain date. I guess this F13 will have to wait a few more months.

I'm still up in the air on this mod Bo White and anyone else would you chime in here for some bonafide track and dyno results other than 'very goos throttle response'???

Bo's ported throttle bodies improve over stock around 8 rwhp. My car gained around 8 rwhp with it this weekend on the dyno, a '98 Formula with Cartek heads and cam gained 8 rwhp on the dyno a few weeks ago, and a '99 Formula bone stock (still has the factory lid with baffles and everything) went from 293.5 rwhp / 315rwtq to 301.2 rwhp / 322rwtq with Bo's ported TB as the only mod.

wow it hasn't even been two weeks and you are already mad. Do you think he has them made up already? For a fully ported and powdercoated tb, I would atleast give a guy that is doing this on the side atleast 3-4weeks before I started to wonder what was going on, you can still do a cam swap, I don't think a cam is dependant on a ported tb to work right.

Bo, as for your website it might be good to be able to click the pics on your site and have larger highres pics come up. The pics are really small, I think it would help alot, just a suggestion though.

DBTECH is still working on the site and its supposed to be able to click the pix and see a larger version of it. It just went up today on cyberspace and they are working the kinks out of it. If it doesnt I will make sure they do because that was part of the design I wasnted for what I payed lol. The 98 stock LS1 cars dyno sheet is on the main page www.portsculptor.com the pulls were done roughly 20 mins from each other- just long enough to swap the TB out.

I'll tell you why i'm pissed, because i spoke to him before I sent the money, the money was there the day i said it was going to be, he gave me a date when the TB would be here and it still hasen't showed up 5days later than the day i was told it was going to be here. You dont' think he has TB's laying around already finished except what color you want? How in the hell do you think you receive a TB before he receives your core? The cam will not go in until i have the last supporting mod to hit the 400 mark, I'm paying to get the car dyno tuned once not everytime i get a new mod.

Jantzer does good work, but the simple truth is:

HE IS A LIER!

It won't need to be retuned for a tb. Stock ported ones don't make that much difference.

It's going to be returned, I'd rather have the $130 core charge in my pocket than his.
