I sent an email to Scott from my normal screen name last Wed. As usual he did not reply through late Friday night. So Saturday morning I send him an email with my other email address asking him to quote me on a ported TB and polished brake calipers. He responds to this email right away. He sends me his paypal info and says he will have a TB and Calipers to me with in three weeks. So I send him another email from my normal account and he does not respond again. I then asked to have this thread unlocked and I was going to post this info. This afternoon I check my email from the normal account and he has finally responded. He says that he is taking his time and that they will be "perfect". He says that I should have them by this Friday (my first show is on Sunday) however that part does not matter any longer. I bought a new pair of valve covers from Nasty Performance and they really kick ***. I have given Scott alot of bad press over the last month (here, LS1.com, CamaroZ28.com) and I will post the pics of the next set that he ships to me. I only hope that they look as nice as some of the other ones that I have seen from him or that he has posted on his web site. As of right now I am out $220 for the valve covers, $20 for the chrome bolts, $25 for shipping to me, $75 for the core charge and $20 for shipping back to Scott. Total $360 for valve covers on order since 2-2-05

On my orginal order a buddy of mine and I ordered 1 ported TB, 2 mass air flow ends, and 1 set of shaved valve covers. The TB is was damn near mint, it really looks good. The mass air flow ends are perfectly acceptable, not perfect but still well done. The valve covers looked like ****. All I ever read about Scott is that he is slow but well worth the wait. So I send him my MAF ends (no core charge) on 2-2-05, thinking that even if he does run late I'll still have them back by 3-25 (appointment at speed Inc.) NOPE....had to reschedual my appoint because I have no MAF ends on my car. Emailed Scott several time, but no replies until after 3-25.
I just want everyone to know that everything I have posted about Scott is the truth and is my experience dealing with him. I have every single email that I have sent him and every one of his replies. I either have pics or can get pics of everything that he sent me in the orginal order. Right now he has the set of valve covers that are pictured on page one of this thread. He has told me that my new set should be at my house by this Friday.

Scott still says that he is having problems with the paint bubbling up, so I have asked to just have a smoothed set sent to me and I will have them painted with high temp paint as opposed to powder coated. I'll keep everyone posted if he works with me on this.

I was going to send my valve covers to him until I had to go through what you did with my TB. I just pulled the covers off, cleaned them with G.U.N.K. then hot soapy water, then, I lightly coated them with black high-gloss/high-temp engine paint. That was many months ago and they look like new ... just a suggestion.
Sorry you are going thorugh so much problems with yours. I hope he offers a partial refund to you.

I offered to pay for shipping, take the orginal valve covers back and have them painted at my cost, and for him to keep my $75 core charge. Still no reply from Scott.
It is clear that he is not going to square up with any of us. Once he lost his sponcership he had nothing to lose!

Updates coming to the last few individuals today. I hope to be square on core charges and will have some tracking numbers shortly. It may be taking longer than expected but I will deliver.
