Default BluePrint Speed Inc

Since I get better responce here.I decided to take it here again.

Well I called speed inc monday to ask about the blue print for the motor. And talk to larry about it,and first thing he says they dont offer blue prints for motors.

So I ask him if he could give me one for the motor. And he told me it would take couple off days.call him today and he said the engine builder is out racing.

checked speed incs web site today and all shorts blocks iclude blue print.

I will get back once I get the blue print and clear this up.thanks

I've talked to Tom in more detail, and as I understand it you have a installed the engine, and they have been paid.

I sense from Tom that you guys have been going around on a few small things, and that Tom has offered to take the engine back with a full refund since you are coming across as unreasonable. Now Tom only asks me to look into stuff like once every six months so this is rare.

If there is a specific issue that needs to be addressed, post it here. But be prepared for us to list the other stuff you got like the injectors and stuff. I have all the details.

Esau, if Felix intends to return the parts, which has been an option offered to him 2 or 3 times, then so be it. I've been friends with Tom @ Speed Inc. since 1998 and he's a VERY reasonable person. He's in no way argumentative or adversarial, he just wants Felix to make a decision and stop acting this way.

Tom said he will do a FULL refund, if he gets all the parts back. He will even eat the shipping he paid, and the shipping back. He's not going to keep dealing with Felix with the way he is behaving.

If a refund is the plan, I will be keeping an eye on this deal to make sure all the parts come back...

yeah like i said he is only there during the week days so thats the only days that he is able to work on his car. This past weekend we had barely finished putting everything in when we noticed that the crank that he ordered was no the one on the motor, that was when the problems began again. this weekend hes taking everything out and hopefully be shipping everything back real soon... by the way I know that Tom takes care of things i know that first hand. But when i was talking with them (not tom by the way I think it was larry) about buying my long block with them my invoice would always say billet crank and when i would remind them that if it was lunati they would always say "yes, but thats how it shows up in the computer. But know in felix cituation they said its different. Anyways i have everything I ordered and I dont have any problems but you know that there is always two parts to the story. Finally I know that felix is returning everything back but like I said he can only work on his car during the weekend, but dont worry felix is going to ship everything back as soon as he can... any more ?'s just ask and I'll call him for you....

This is crazy, I remember the other thread, and TOM offered to refund this guys money like every other post he made.

Ive had several dealings with SpeedInc, and all of them have gone over effortlessly. I buy they send, pretty simple.
maybe im just lucky.

ok here we go again.First of all Tom will really have to explain in real detail this time.Yes I was planing to keep everyting even with what happend.I was expecting to get a 408 lunati short block, but I got eagle instead.

My total came $7,200+ this is including 408 lunati stroker with diamond pistons, moser 12 bolt all options, custom drive shaft,SLP maf,42 lbs injectors, roll master timing chain, cometic head gaskets.I got a $1,270 discount total would had being $8,470 with out discount.

Now if you add all regular prices with the eagle stroker that only comes to like $6,700.
There's no discount there, and to top it off I'm still getting charge $580 more.$6,700 & I paid $7,200+.

Now I called tom and told him about the stroker being eagle. He told me that was my discount,I dont understand that.

Thanks bro.Hopefully they dont come with more excusses and just refund my money.

I just find out that TOM is already selling the parts with out even giving me a refund.Tom has sold the drive shaft to Carlos a friend of mine. And he wants to sell the rear end to another friend of mine.

If your going to sell him the rear end with out me getting a dime. Then christian should pay me directly not speed inc.

The drive shaft got sold for $330
The rear will probobly sell for $2,400 I'm just letting you guys know what's up

-After much haggling, and several phone conversations Felix orders a 408" motor and several other items with a sizable discount.
-THe motor takes a week longer to build than the timeframe we estimated, customer claims we gave him a "hard" date.
-Motor arrives, customer makes a post on how we screwed him over by taking so long, yet he accepts the motor. We offer a full refund, stating we prefer to have it back and end our dealings.
-Customer posts here that he wants a build sheet either before calling us, or shortly after calling us. We offer a full refund again.
-THe customer claims we price matched a 408" motor with LUnati internals. We did not. THe motor we built him, at the price we built it at is for Eagle parts. The customer claims he was told otherwise, which he was not. We sold it to him with a $12XX discount, because he was getting Eagle parts. We offer a full refund.

Regardless of which view you believe, I offered a refund several times, including shipping BOTH ways. THere is a MAJOR communication gap here, and at this point, it isnt worth it to Felix, and it certainly isnt worth it to me.

Now, his friends email me wanting to buy some of the parts he has (with excellent testimonials stating how they have always had good luck with us, and do not understand this deal with Felix), so they can save shipping charges, and Felix the hassle of boxing up some big items. How is this doing you wrong? If you want me to refund you for those items, once I confirm your friends have them, it isnt a problem.

Where we stand right now, is that I am waiting on parts to come back with my finger on the "REFUND" buttom of my terminal.

Tom

seems more than fair to me

especially considering his friends contacted you, not like you went after his friends
