QTP Carnage *pics* I got 8 months use out of my QTP cutout and then the driver side one went "boom"
I actually heard a loud pop and when I pulled over and looked under there this is all that I found left of it. BTW this was not recent...around a year ago.

I was driving on a long exit ramp and didnt hit a thing on the road. what I think happened is it was just getting overheated when I would actually flip the switch....and it was just overbearing for it over time. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw all the internals bouncing down the road, and realized that it exploded!

When I called about it, whoever I talked to didn't really seem to care and just said send it back and $30 or whatnot and we'll fix it. If I owned a shop like QTP I would at least apologize and try to remedy the situation so the same incident does not happen to further customers.

BOTH of mine are falling apart. The motor section is coming loose from the frame with no obvious way to tighten it. They were like this only two weeks after installing them. QTP said to send them back and PAY to fix their crappy product. I am waiting for them to fail once and for all so I can get some McCords.

Same thing here whole motor come flying off down the freeway 
... 10 months on the one on the car now and its starting to get lose too... Owell OTP is about to get 2 back to rebuild $$$$....(small price to pay for nascar)

Point is to inform people. Isn't that the point of this forum? To inform and give feedback on products?
I for one was thinking of buying one of these from QTP. Now that I see this, I will go ahead and buy a regular ole' cutout. Thank's Orangepeel for the post.
