Default Texas Speed

I hate to be a complainor, but I have kinda got a beef with Texas Speed. I placed an order 2 weeks ago, I had everything by end of the week except cam and headers. So called them Monday and they said headers were back ordered week or so and cam should be here that day or Tuesday. So I called them yesterday, Thursday and they said they would give comp cams a call today, Friday to see what was up and to give them a call back. So today I called back and they said again they would call comp, and give me a call back. 5:30 and no return call, so I called them and they were gone at 5:30............close at 6.

I dont want to **** anyone off, I just want to find out where my cam is so I can plan and do my cam swap.........

I feel your pain.

I'm still waiting for Jason to refund my $6195.00 for a MagnaCharger order that I cancelled over a month ago.

I'm still waiting on a 85mm lid and a set of rods that were order Feb 2. I talked to them this week, lid is on back order and will be a couple of weeks. They should have the rods in a week to ship out. I also heard the same story a couple of weeks ago when I called.

I do know they are having issue's with the makers of the lids. My friend has had his ordered since dec 1st and still hasnt got it. Jason said that they should have some in very quick. As for the rest of the stuff cant help ya there. Jason has always been a good guy to me. I just think they are having some bad luck right now on getting stuff in from the manufacture's.

I'm with you; I ordered a stock diameter lid on Jan. 5 and got the back order explanation about 2.5 weeks ago. Today, I was told about a possible new design, and it would be ship in another 1-1.5 weeks.

Guys we've been busier than ever lately and I understand that it is hard to find a phone line that is not busy when calling the shop. If you do not have success in getting in contact with someone over the phone please PM me with your problem and I'll work as fast as I can to get it resolved or updated.

meatman - I apologize for the inconvenience to you. We are certainly in our busiest time of the year, and it can sometimes lead to a game of phone tag with manufacturers. If you e-mail me at trevor@texas-speed.com with your phone number, I will be glad to give you a call tomorrow morning. Our phones do stay busy from 9:30 am until we close at 6:00. We are working to remedy the situation with additions to the sales team, along with additional phone lines.

Richie - The refund on your Magnuson has been sent out. We had to wait for Magnuson to issue the refund before we could do the same.

As for the induction lids, we have been fighting to get them back in stock for quite a while now. The original design with a vacuum mold was causing issues to the point that we were receiving batches of induction lids that were not sized properly. They have since switched to an injection mold, and now we are waiting for them to arrive. I apologize for the inconvenience to everyone that has been waiting, and we really do appreciate everyone's patience. Unfortunately, our hands are tied in this situation because we cannot rush the manufacturer anymore than we already are, and we definitely do not want to send out any induction lids that are not 100% correct! Bear with us, and we will get everyone taken care of that has been waiting. For everyone waiting for one of our induction lids, I will make sure a TSP t-shirt is included once they are ready to ship!

Let me know if anyone has any other questions or concerns. We are always here to help in any way possible.

I would like to thank Trevor and Jon for helping me on this matter. Sorry guys but I am so ready to get my car back on the road and it was the only part left and we really tried for a week to get in touch with yall. Talked to Trevor about some other questions I had on a T chain and my Vortech setup and he put my mind at ease. Jason you dont have to call the shop. I dont work there. I gave you my personal number about this situation and you never responed. Thus why I posted about it. No bashing intended. Thanks again TSP.

Just trying to get through and trying to get email replies if so frustrating. If it'such a busy time of year and you're doing so much business, why can't TSP hire a temp or two and add a temporary additional phone line? OR, has this already been done? I don't like complaining, but, this whole experience trying to simply purchase an exhaust system really is leaving a bad taste.
