Only LG wants my money Just wanted to share my experience.I recently came upon 5,000.00 that i decided would be put into my 2001 Z28. I emailed the following sponsors about purchasing their products.
1. SDPC: Emailed on 04/07/03, still have not heard back from them.
2. TEA: Emailed on 04/15/03, still have not heard back.
3. Absolute Speed: Emailed on 04/15/03, still waiting for them too.
4. LG motorsports: Emailed last night just asking about USED products that i didnt even buy from them and recevied a reply first thing this morning. LG rocks!!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Only LG wants my money Yup, usually how I create an initial impression. I am going to be having some work done soon and so far every email I sent off to force fed performance, I have a response by the next day.
Just the same I emailed zbaron twice and NEVER got a reply.

Re: Only LG wants my money Having bought from several sponsors, (TEA and SDPC included), I have learned that e-mail response time is not at all a good way to judge how well somebody is to buy from. I got very good, quick e-mails both times I was ripped off. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> Would you rather have sponsors sitting on the computer all day e-mailing people, or installing your goodies? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Trust me, call either TEA or SDPC, and you will have no problems or complaints about their customer service.
That being said, props to LGM for the quick response. Good luck whoever you go with. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Only LG wants my money Judging a shop by not responding to an email isn't really fair. It's damned annoying, but not fair. Maybe it would've been different if you would've called them on the phone?
I've made a purchase from SDPC in the past. I called them and the product was in the mail the same day. As a matter of fact, I ordered a small part from them last week. Customer service was great IMO.

Don't discount a vendor based on email response... some vendors have better things to do than check email every hour! If you're interested in something... pick up the phone and call them!
I've dealt with SDPC... awesome service!
I've dealt with TR... AWESOME service!
Never dealt w/LG and never will.. but that's my own choice (based on how they've responded to threads... both here and other boards such as CorvetteForum.com ... )
