Post Another "waiting on UMI" thread: RESOLVED

Resolved. We talked on the phone in a much more civil manner and Ryan at UMI has gone the extra mile to get this resolved. Thanks alot for talking with me person to person

Waiting on parts is one thing, but being lied to is another. From what I read on here I am far from the first person who gets fed false promises every time I talk to you. Order # 12043. I need my parts, not lies. Don't tell me you'll keep me updated because I've already been told that and have never heard anything from you without initiating the conversation myself. Don't tell me it will ship in two days, because I've been told that three times. I hear great things about your products, but it is WAY too common for people to be lied to about when their parts will be shipped out when they order from you. I haven't been waiting incredibly long for my parts, but that's not the issue when three times in a row I am told that it will be shipped in two days and it never happens. Tell me it will take a month to ship the first time I talk to you and **** me off really good once, but don't keep lying to me and pissing me off over and over.

Well first off why don't you give me a name and or order # instead of PMing me "Maybe this will help get an answer"

I have no idea who you are, I can't get any information from LS1tech name.

Ok I found the order, Blake correct?

If so you called in and Marlena told you mid to end of this week, well is this week over yet?

Secondly, it clearly states on our website that ALL orders will be delayed and to please allow 6-8 business days to process and ship orders. If faster shipping is needed you need to contact us, it is on there clear as day and you were also told this over the phone.

We have very few to no complaints on this site. We have posted on our site that orders will take extra time, it you failed to read this we can't help you. We have done the best of our ability to do that. I can't help if you are impatient.

The order has been cancelled and your refund is being processed as we speak.

Case closed.

6-8 days? I payed on the 4th, does that sound like 6-8 business days to you? It sounds like 22 days to me. Explain to me how you can talk down to me for not allowing for the the "specified wait" when the "specified wait" was over two weeks ago. You say that I "failed to read" about the wait? Are you not freakin reading that It's been three times that long already? What kind of company takes three times the quoted time to ship an order and then blames the customer for not understanding? Thanks for refunding my money, I guess the proper business procedure for not being able to keep your promises is to just cancel people off as customers altogether. Thanks for proving to be a crappy company that lies and gets insulted when they are called out on it. You pm to me that you don't like my attitude? I don't like to be lied to.

So how have we lied to you? You called in and we told you mid to end of the week and you consistly called me a liar in your post which I personally have never talked to you.

Its posted on our site there would be a delay, I am not sure what else to tell you.

As for your order, it was ready to ship today as promised. However yes giving your attitude I cancelled it and the item is now being shipped to another customer. If you would have came to me in a more mature manor asking what I could have done to help you out I would have done something. But when you start bashing us and calling us a "liar" I am not going out of my way to help.

Please explain to me why when the wait is 6-8 days I have been waiting three weeks and you still keep referncing the 6-8 days? Can you not man up as a business and admit a mistake has been made and just ship the order? I don't understand why you place the blame on me

I'm not going to get them now, he doesn't like my attitude and cancelled the order that I've already been waiting for this long. I didn't complain about waiting, I complained about not being told that I would have to wait. I have talked to them more than once and each time was told they were about to be shipped out. Hence the thread that started out complaining about being lied to. Now he posts in this thread about how I'm not being patient and waiting the 6-8 days when it's been much longer than that? I don't understand, I'm supposed to be upset right now and instead of trying to make it right he cancels my order. I gave them chances to fix this before I posted this and just kept being told that it would be shipped in a few days. I had no choice but to bring it in here and post up what has happened.

Do you really think they singled you out to "lie" to you? That is about as petty as one can get - you were given updates on your order.

Always have the parts before starting the work.
Always expect delays in getting the parts, sometimes shippers lose the orders.
All Sponsors reserve the right to discontinue doing business with any customer for any reason - UMI does not make a habit of "lieing" to customers and blowing them off or they wouldn't be backordered on parts.

I hope that makes sense to impatient customers who want it NOW

Jesse (the customer) had contacted me via phone and we have resolved the issue. We had both mis-understood each other and it appears we let our defensive sides take over.

We re-issued the order and will get it taken care of. Thanks for the patience during this busy time of the year.

Thank you,
Ryan
