One other thing really needs to be said. No matter which side of this warranty issue you fall down on, you have to give credit to LS1TECH.COM and the people behind it for providing a fair unbiased forum for people to debate the issue.
I consider it an amazing commitment to consumers and I'll continue buying from sponsors of this board because, as a long time reader, I have the ultimate amount of trust in the opinions of members and moderators alike.
