Default GM design flaw what the hell

As winter has arrived i like to put the winshield wipers up to keep them from sticking. well gm and there master design team made it to where you cant do it what the hell does the impala have this problem to?

They tuck under the hood on our car. Just turn them on and turn off the car while they are up, then you can put them out.

I agree its a dumb thing to cry about but does it really need brought back up again stating what everyone else knows already ?

i agree, its not that big of a deal. the only true flaw is that GM made these cars FWD. i don't know what they were thinking

GM and everyone else for that matter should follow Subaru and make the part of the windshield where the wipers sit heated.

that would pack with ice and snow so tight when you turned it off it wouldnt be funny. maybe designing the defroster to actually blow on the windshield would be a more worthy change.

I think the lucerne or the lacrosse has heated fluid that would sweet if we could install that into our system that would be really nice

There have been a couple recalls of that stuff catching on fire. I don't know if I'd be in a huge hurry to install it. Personally I'd wait till the second gen of it comes out. That said its a simple to do. It takes a bit of work because you have to replace everything, including all the lines.
