Headrest removal??

Default Headrest removal??
OK, someone help me out before I tear something up...



I removed the headrest from the seat, but I'm not 100% sure how to get the leather off of the part so I can get it stitched. There is a gap in the leather, but it appears to be glued together... I hear a scary ripping/tearing sound when I try to separate it.

Anybody done this before??

Some shops can stitch the headrest just like that, without having to remove the leather.
