Just wanted to get your opinions/methods on how to get the best launch with these cars at the track or on the street

I footbrake as much as possible. When I release the brake I just roll into it as fast as possible without feeling too much wheel spin. A little spin is OK, but roasting the tires isn't making me go any faster!

I like the Hippopotamus method, LOL. Thats when you say hippopotamus as your launching, at about 1/2 throttle, when you finish saying hippopotamus you floor it! I've never tried this myself, but was told it works well. LOL, sounds funny as hell, don't it?

Throw some street slicks on the car and be done with it. Night and day difference!

after you practice enough you should be able to feel your traction coming and know when to lay into it.

Practice, practice, practice. I'm no expert, but after a bunch of runs you'll get a better feel for when you can stomp on it and not spin. Personally, I brake torque it to about 2k and roll into the throttle feeling if it is going to spin or not before I go WOT.

I must have good luck with input shafts, I leave on a 100 shot of juice with MT race slicks. I've got about 15 passes on spray and more on just motor.

I also had a 2000 GTP that made 304 FWHP that I ran a BFG street Slick and I raced that car all the time.

Yeah guys, the Hippo method works, Or you can say MONTE CARLO and then have it floored so people in the car arent confused when you are yelling out animal names for verbal cues. This verbal timing works for me every time!
