Cool LS4info :grin: This is very exciting. Acording to this site,this person was able to buy a complete motor/trans of one of the protype LS motors that became our beloved LS4. Has pic of the factory set up with the front exhaust running under the cradel, then a pic of what i would like to see for our cars as far as an rear/front exhaust manifold. That mearges the front and rear alot better. Im so excited looking at this pic. We might want to contact him about other parts options. He built this motor toa 383 storker/ 500hp

interesting that we have a hydrolic belt tensioner, and a special baffeled oil pan. thats always good. As i find more web sites ill post on here.

rockers are about 8 bolts to get the valve covers off, and 8 bolts for each rocker....if you can do an intake, you can do rockers.
you may have to change pedistals depending on which ones you get....id recommend zzp's modified stockers

The only ones that are a bit of a problem are the ones under the alternator (I used the Harlan Sharp rockers, so needed to get a torque wrench in there). But since I changed springs and seals at the same time, I had to take the alternator off anyway to get my spring compressor in there.
It was actually more of a pain to pull the plugs so I could get the fitting in there to pressurize the cylinder during valve spring replacement (#8 was the worst).
