Wow you really took your time. I like how u didnt just paint the whole center section, just the buldges.

Going to do another coat of red in a bit. I'm going to have to buy another can of white tomorrow, I let the paint dry too much before taking off the masking tape off the intake runner shape area and a little paint peeled off one side. Kinda fun project except for the fumes!

Yeah I went ahead and painted mine too. Tried to be original but it didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to. So it's back to the drawing boards!

Looks white cause it's still wet in the pic.

CarloCrusader where did you get that 3rd engine brace? Did it come on the car? I wonder if one will fit on mine?

That is the strut tower brace, that is moddified to clear the Alternator. Then most use mounting brakets from this place.

After reading this thread I just realized that my heater hoses were tucked under the engine cover too!

i might paint mine in case i ever use it again and it will give me something to doi have a can of paint i used for the shaker scoop that matches the body color you think the sides would look good like that?
