Buy the catless one and buy a cat its alot cheapers. Catless pipe 100 dollars. 70 for 3 inch universal cat, off there website. So for 170 vs 270 if u plan on running a full three inch exhaust. That would save you a little money.

Hey WilliamGT, My advice is get the downpipe, weld it in place to the oem cat and weld all the seams of your exhaust system so there are no leaks. Your magnaflo system is ample with the res. If your friend knows his stuff the tune Can and will give nice results.
If you throw rear 02 codes he can turn them off or you can use a simulator to compensate (I personally think compensation, cause if you take a wing off a bird it can`t fly, funny you clip its wings and it can be controlled)

Make sure the Throttle body and MAF are clean and ducting (PRE TUNE) and teach yourself to keep it that way. (less than an hour keeps you in power)
Also, once all the work is done and before the tune, disconnect the neg. battery cable for 10-15 min. depress the brake pedal and then start and drive for 80-120 kilometers before you start the tune.

Get yourself a aerosol can of Throttle Body Cleaner (any cheap brand) and a can of Mass Airflo Sensor cleaner (I like CRC) an old tooth brush, lint free rag, Q-tips and a small tray. it is the Throttle body thats dirty but while you have it off clean the rest it`s easy. be gentle with the throttle body and be sure to excerise the butterfly to the max limits in your hand because it only travels 80% with the tpm, get in the small port with the spray and dry it good and apply a little vasaline or simular to the flange before reinstalling. While your there remove and clean the purge sol with throtle body cleaner and Q-tips and rinse with TBC and lubricate the o-rings with lube on a Q-tip.It will take a couple of full cycle starts/run/shutdown for things to stabilize afterwards.
