ls4 Maintenance Schedule
My car did not come with a manual and I'd like to not have to rely on the dealer to tell me what my maintenance schedule is. Can anyone break it down for me? There's 20k on my GXP now and all I've done is a 4-wheel alignment, new tires all around (Kumho), and a few oil changes.

Grandman here you go:
http://media.gm.com/us/pontiac/en/pr...x/07index.html
http://www.diyrepairmanuals.com/products.asp?cat=8859
Look on this page, select year from drop down, find GrandPrix and either open or save it for future use!
http://www.pontiac.com/manuals/ Now this one is for the 2008 but it is identical.

Most engines are assembled with the piston wrist pins fixed either by retainers at the ends and /or pressed into the connecting rod small end. In this manner the piston is the pivot point and the wrist pin stays still always.
In the full floating method (FAR SUPERIOR) the wrist pin is free to float from side to side and so is the connecting rod, creating less stress on everything and less friction.
