Roller-rockers
Ok guys, I ordered the Comp Cams Pro-Magnum Steel 1.85 Roller Rocker Arms and springs and Manton push rods...and then sent them back because I decided to devote that $ to my No2 kit for the gain for the money it wasnt too hard to pick....but im wanting to do the rockers now too...so many opinions on how this is going to be done....some say i need to machine the heads for clearance if doing push rods....and then some say that i have to do guide plates.....I need to know if I can just mount these rockers up (bolt-on) off the factory clearance from the springs.....can someone give me the low down on this....what are the specs for these....and can I just order the rockers and bolt them on....im a lil stumped on which way to go!! Thanks guys!!

These are my favorite and strongest Roller-Rockers. With a lifetime warranty I might add... They also come with pushrods.

The Yella's are a direct replacement for the stockers except they are a full roller. The nice thing is they never had a problem with the roller end wearing into the rocker like some other companies have had.

I believe Area47 had a set of the 1.85's and he had to clearance them to fit (read; file the back ends down). There should be an early, early thread in here someplace.
