I was on my way to a friends house to watch a blues game.(Go Blues) My wife was in the car with me. I dont know if any body here is from St louis but I was heading down 141 and manchester and a gray new body style gt pulls up to me at the light. He gives me a glare. I scoot up to be even with him also to give him the sighn that I was ready. My Wife is screaming at me ( DONT YOU DO IT, DONT YOU DO IT) I didnt here a thing. I watch the cross light to see when my light was going to turn green. It Turned greened. I slammed it. I had a great launch very little wheel spin. I was a head buy a 1/4 of a car lenght, he hit second chirped his tires and i pulled a half car on him we went all the way to about 80 and i was a full maybe a little less ahead of him. I had to slow down the wife was going to kill me. we continued down 141 but he never pulled beside me. This was my first new body style gt kill

 

I love Mustangs, they're so easy. Nice run.

For a real laugh, try running one of the 4.9L ones (pre 4.6). You will stomp a stockish one real bad!

So ive been seeing alot kustang kill stories, looks like the 4 doors plays tricks with their minds. im still in highschool so about everyother 4 cars is a mustang, about 1 or 2 maybe that could do some work. i know for a fact there 04 svt cobra that could do some damage.

 

Good kill. Just watch out for th 03/04 SVT terminator cobra's them things can be quick for like less than a grand in mods. They are like GTP, Drop pulley, intake, cut out and a tune. I was happy with my kill. My first ever

Yep, I heard with a tune and exhaust they can put about 260ish to the wheels.

Won 1 lost 2. That third gear and the gearing helps the Stangs out. I'm trhinking about goin GXPJays route with the 15/16 chain and 3.29s. He said he did not have any probs with the computer or have to tune anything. Funny Nexen N3000s and headlight in 1st run and slicks and headlight out 2nd run. Would you guys be upset if I bought someone's loss it's a 600HP Mustang Cobra for $25,000 (though I was gonna buy a guy's 11 sec camaro ss anniversary edition for $13,500).

we have both in our family fleet (2006 Impala SS and 2006 Mustang GT)

When both were stock the Mustang was the faster car from a stop, but the SS wasn't far behind. Both are very efficient at stomping honda civics.

 

my Stock Impala SS walked my buddies 95 GT with exhaust, gears and a intake manifold.
