Default Got a New battery & New tires.

So Changed the AC Delco with an Optima Yellow top. No red tops in stock anyways anything is better than the ac delco.

A battery change turned into half a day prject. The AC Delco had leaked and the battery tray was starting to rust. Had to take it out sand it a good bit. Then sprayed it with primer and let it dry.

Ordered new tires two weeks ago got 'em yesterday. BFGoodrich gforce T/A KDWS
$78 per tire from onlinetires.com. came out to 430 with shipping. It took em a while to ship the tires like 5 days but
only took 4 days to get to PA from Cali. Getting them on during the week.

How do you like the new tires? I was considering them for my summer wheels since they're such a good price online and have good reviews. I believe they come stock on Mustangs with 18 inch wheels.

The tires have not been installed yet. sometime this week. Will post a review once I roll around in'em for a bit.

Got the tires on yesterday. Have not driven more than 30 miles. But feels much better than the bold RSA I had on. My rear tires felt like ice skates.

However the car feels much better because of the alignment. I had it done 3 times by 3 different dealers and it felt like ****. Pulling to the right. Feel like 2 of the 3 dealers didn't eve do anything just charged me for it.

The shop that changed my tires and did the alignment does nothing but alignments all day.
They can do from cars to school buses. They adjusted my parking brake for free, did even asked'em to do it. I was gonna work on it this weekend. Now I can brew some more beer this weekend.

Here is the alignment print out they gave me. Also gave me 4 print outs of tire balance and the road force test. I won't post those unless someone really wants to see them.

The shop is called Mickey's Suburban Alignment. Its in Broomall PA.

Check out the rear toe no wonder the inside of my tires we worn out so bad.

Are you looking at the KDW2's or the KDWS online?

I got the KDWS's
This is what they look like

Now the KDW2's look pretty cool but I need all season tires.

Those are the tires i have on my monte. They are nice, but suck in the snow...well Michigan snow anyway.

My rear tow was -0.45 on the left and -0.46 on the right....that happened after the dealer changed out two wheels under warranty...so I still need to speak to them about that.

I personally plan on checking my tires every week, and getting an alignment at least 2 times a year, if not every quarter. The 60-70 dollars for times a year is still cheaper than buying two new KDW's and having them mounted and balanced....

They are good in the rain, still handles like it's on rails. The snow that I got stuck in was always about 4+ inches deep. But they do break traction easy in anything over 1.5 inches deep of snow. Just have to be careful with the throttle. This is my first V8 car, so that probably didn't help me this winter either.

The fronts fared very well over the winter, and aren't really showing any wear. I had to buy two new tires for the rear at Easter time and I got the same tires again...so I enjoy them....those KDW 2's are close to a DR. They must really hook on the dry pavement. I think GXPJay had some on his car.
