The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
The interior would keep me from buying the vehicle. To me the 60's went away for a reason, and GM couldn't do interiors back then. Then it has the really creepy 70's style gauges.
All its missing is that nasty old mold / rot smell.
GM usually takes a couple years to fix all of that - I hated the 2000-05 MCSS's, but love this '06.
I like the new Mustang, can't stand the Charger. To me this car is truly aimed at the 50+ crowd.
Hope the Monte holds up a few more years!
thats why i bought the gxp because i think these v8 w bodys are really as close to muscle car roots as it gets these days... normal car with an engine in it that really pushes limits of what the car should be able to handle....
plus i moved back from college today and i would love to see somone in a camaro fit a bike with ape hangers, all their clothes, a computer, a printer, a microwave, two rubbermaid bins of spray paint and other design tools, bedding and all the rest of the misc **** in their car...
I read a quote this year i enjoyed and sums up my view on the camaro i think it was by architect Aldo Rossi "Do not follow in the footsteps of big men, instead seek what they sought"

He went straight from the dealership to the tint shop. The others are silver w/ black stripes and cyber grey w/ black stripes. Nice cars, but WAY too quiet.
