Default Tire opions.

Well guys getting to be tire time. Down to the wear indicator of the Stock Bridgestones RE050A tires. If they are the original tire i have over 30K miles on them. SO really pretty impressive. It sad because they seem to be gripping really well at the drag strip. I wasnt planning on going back to Bridgestone since they are pricey. However just today i got a cupon for 25% of any tires this weeked at a firestone dealership. So im looking at these
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

They are RE760's. Retail price for me was like $165, but wtih 25% off it would be $120 area which would work for me. What do u guys think. This is about the same price as some other of the "cheap" tires i have found online with shipping.

Those are what I'm running and I absolutely love them. Performed well for me at the track too.

For about 120 each the RE760's are an absolute steal. They will more than likely be my next tire.

I put on Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Seasons... awesome z-rated tire... kevlar and carbon-fiber reinforced... run-flats...

things grip like crazy... very good tire... when I got 'em, they were $170 each at tirerack, with a $50 rebate from goodyear...

btw, got 55,000 miles on my stock goodyear rs-a's before replacing them with the F1's...

I went with the Falken Ziex 912...245's and I've had them on for 1 day...last night I took it out and launched around 2000, and had wheelspin for maybe half the gear and it immediately hooked. Today, it's pouring down rain (flash flood style) and I have yet to have any traction issues. discounttire.com has them for $145 and most local places are selling them for $180. GREAT all season high performance tire...Z rated as well!

Nice well price for tires where $167 25% off made them $125. Then with mount ballance, warrenty for 2 tires was $353. Signed up for credit car. Saved another 10% off that making it $318. And 3 months no intest. Ill have them next week.

Make sure you take advantage of having that credit card. They don't always tell you about the perks, but some of them are:

$16.99 oil changes (as long as you pay w/the card)
Free rotations (on any car)
Free flat repairs (on any car)
Special offers and discounts (make sure you check your mail, they're usually pretty good offers)

I used to be a Manager of Tire Sales for Firestone.

Yeah, it's a great feature. Basically, if you decide you don't like the tires you bought within 30 days, you don't have to keep them. They'll either put your old ones back on for free (hope they kept 'em) or give you credit towards another set of tires. It's that simple.

Of course, given the economic climate, some managers might give you a hard time and try to add fees for this or that to try and get you to change your mind, but there should be literature in the shop explaining exactly how it's supposed to go. Also, if you have any problems, you just have to go over the store manager'e head or just bitch on that survey they give you at the bottom of your receipt. Firestone does not like having unhappy customers. I can't tell you how much free **** we had to give away because someone wasn't happy for some reason or another.

And of course, I'm always here for questions.

Honestly though, I doubt you'll be dis-satisfied. These RE760s are niiiiice tires.

Im pretty excited. From what i have read they should grip 99% as good as the RE050A that were stock, but offer better wet tractions, any possibly a better ride. Mostally worried about wet traction.
