Ran 2007 Mustang cobra middle aged guy in a 07 mustang cobra was lauging at me when i revved at him those stangs are almost as quiet as our cars, i mouthed wana race at him he nodded, once traffic cleared so we could run we were going 55-60 nobody honked he gave me the jump i shut it down at ninety his front bumper about two feet back from my rear. so the real question is is that a win? (lets not argue who is faster because we all know the answer) it was a fun time anyway it probably peeved him a bit so im happy

ddnt say gt 500 anywhere had a shelby badge on the side with the cobra and stuff it didnt have the double scoops just the one in the middle he got over confident

yeah same deal out here in jersey. beat a new 335i best of three on the highway. 60- about 140. i was totally scared to get pulled over but it was worth the risk making him feel like a total jerk losing in his brand new bmw. guess two turbos werent enough.

Uh what. If it was a Cobra than it was a GT500. They aren't 2 different cars. The GT500 IS the Cobra with the supercharged 5.4L. Only way the guy has a Cobra that isn't a GT500 is if he put Cobra badges on his GT.

thanks it was def the top one with the single scoop and hood pins... i cant say that im a fan of the scoop i know its supposed to look like a shelby roadster but it just always reminds me of those plasic hoods kids doublestick tape to their cars
Nice kill, he let you get the hit so his fault. He probably would have came back up top, but with that short of a run with the hit he didn't have a chance.
When I race my brothers G8, he alwasy lets me get the hit andit takes him a little while to make up the difference.

i would have gone longer but i already have a 91 in a 70 ticket i dont want a 90 in a 50 ick!
he would have come up for sure as far as mods im bone stock besides the header wrap while im re designing my intake and trying to find someone to put my cutout in for less than a hundred bucks

Actually it isn't a GT/CS, that's a different package. The one pictured above is in fact, a Ford Mustang Shelby GT (it's mostly an appearance package, has the under pinning of the Bullit though). Not a GT 500 and not a GT/CS. The GT/CS doesn't have a billet grill or hood pins. It also has a spoiler which the Shelby GT doesn't have.

I thought CS stood for california special? But I have seen one of those shelbys run mid 15's all night he was an real bad driver. I thought it was a shelby gt 500 but it didnt have the gt 500 on it.
