I hadnt taken it out to the track since I bought the car last June so I took a trip to the local track last week. Overall my best for the night wasn't any better than what I got when I had just bought the car, although I did trap a lot higher. I just couldn't get any better than a 2.2 sixty. I could've gotten all the runs I wanted that night but the engine/tranny just love to get hot quickly so after a few runs I called it quit after not being able to pull a 2.0 sixty as I did before.
So after that night I decided FORGET THIS FWD business. Downpipe will be sold, cutout likely to stay capped up, and weigh it down with some subs in the trunk. Time to focus on building a 383/396 stroker for the Z
At least I liked how the GXP sounded going down the track haha

Thanks!!
I haven't done anything about the check engine light so it's been on the whole time, although I've only had the DP on for the past few weeks so it hasn't been annoying yet. I haven't had to worry about smog testing as new cars in CA don't need it until 7 years after first purchased new.
