Age: 38 years-old
Location: Pine Mountain Club, CA/Agoura Hills, CA
Vehicles: 2006 Impala SS, 1987 Buick Grand National, 1977/2007 Camaro with LR4 4.8 and 4L80-E.
Mods: Bought a Diablosport but have not installed any tuning yet.
Goals: To sell the Camaro and lightly mod the SS, keeping in mind that this car sees 800 miles per week!
Any suggestions for improving mileage? I was thinking about doing a homemade CAI, but am not sure if it's worth the time since the stock airbox appears to flow pretty well.

Jon
48 years young (48 was my Dad's & brother's race car #)
Live near Portland Oregon
My DD is my 08 GXP, have 7 cars at the house & all have been modded.
Goals for the GXP are supercharged/6 speed/RWD or add a couple of 100hp(or higher) electric motors to the rear and make it an AWD hybrid.
Looking at replacing my wife's DD (06 Mustang) with a new SS Camaro next year.

yeah man, get it now while interest/mortgage rates are low !!
then once it appreciates in value, you can take out a home-equity loan against it for the mods!!

Hey William, Did you use to visit grandamgt.com? That site got me started on car modding, with my grand am at the time. I had a ton of n/a mods done to mine. I moved on to a Grand Prix GXP then the GTO, kinda wierd how we seem to be goin the same route if you are the fella im thinking of. If not then i apologize for the mix up.
