Exhaust cutout?

I was digging around and was looking to see if there were any previous threads but didnt find any. if i'm asking an already asked question sorry, new here.

and i was wondering if anyone here has gotten any cutouts? if you did, from where, and did you notice any difference (other then noise)?

i have the QTP electric cutout from pfyc.com......i dont have any real numbers from a dyno but i could feel a better pull throughout excelleration...mine is mounted right after my res.

i have single since we dont have a true dual exhuast....single pipe from the cat back to the y split then it goes to 2 mufflers....i have the magnaflow catback.

i know there have been some who have put it right after the DP but i didnt want it that loud and i know others have put it further down the line of the res. i think some have it exiting right by the rear tire after the couple of bends from the res.

Just place it after the resonator right before the Y-split to the mufflers. Its not that loud and it sounds good.

paul made up a video of him driving around and his and my cut out are mounted in a very smilar place to the one in the above photo. i mounted mine where the straight part is that u can see just before the cut out in the picture. Which required them welding a new hanger nothing major.

Yea we have alot of ricers with fartbuckets here and i never see them get hassled but then again i have seen cops just laughing at them (seriously) but they do get bored around here sometimes.

I got one off of eBay for $150, and replaced my cat with it.

Driven by a couple of cops with it wide open, they didn't bother me. One even gave me a thumbs up.

what size cutout (diameter) are you guys using on your stock exhaust.??? i wanna buy a cutout but not sure what size it is.. im guessing 2.25"? i wanna put it right after the resinator. or how would it sound in place of the resinator?
