Need an opinion... Guys,
If you were to ship something out that someone has purchased from you; how long would you wait to ship it?
Here is what I did... I purchased some LS2 Truck Coils from someone on this forum (I was going to test them for the LS4 community...) and since Saturday I have not gotten one single response from him. I PM'ed him saying I sent in payment and asked when he ships them if I could get a tracking number. Again, NOTHING... I payed through PayPal. If I do not hear anything by Thursday I am filing a dispute with PayPal.
Maybe I am just panicking but usually my things get shipped out really fast, or at least my questions are answered. His trader rating was 100% so I figured I'd be ok. He also joined in Dec. of 07, not last week.
If anyone can give me some advice please do. I just do NOT want to be scammed. Thanks in advance.

Well the money is out of my bank account so I think it cleared. It isn't that they weren't shipped yet that bugs me it is not getting a response from him regarding any of my PM's. He has been on here recently and still has not responded. This is why I am freaking out a bit. Never had this happen.

Its hard to get money from paypal for a transaction that did not occur on ebay. They really suck about that. Sorry for your luck, sometimes people are just scammers. Also im sure you know this but when you pay, for it threw paypal, he gets the money like instantly. So, yeah sounds like either A. he doesnt have the coil and ripped you off or B. he just doesnt care and has shipped them.
Anywho good luck with the dispute, i hate paypal but i still have to use it...

Thanks Greg. I am on my 3rd PM in 3 days with still no response. When I sell something I ALWAYS keep the communication open and update any changes. It stinks that I know he was on here and you can't PM me back with "I got the payment...or I'll ship them soon." I feel I am being avoided...

find a moderator on the board....and if he is logging in and not responding, notify them of your issue, but keep it cool right now....see if they can get ahold of him....but keep in mind - some business say 7 to 10 days for processing and stuff....so i would give the same.

i know that...just saying i would give him the same amount of time that most companies take.
I'd give him some more time. I know for myself at least when I sell something I check every night the tracking number to see where it's at. But this guy could have had some vacation plans or something that has taken him away from his computer.
you sure they are the right coils? its the round coils everyone wants with the heat sink on the back like these
