Ran a Mach 1

Thought you guys would like this. Closed course of course. Lost by a length. Spun a lot on the launch. Like I said before, closed course. Mach 1 was a 5-speed with Flowmaster mufflers.

what an idiot! closed course? a manbearpig coulda jumped outta nowere!!!!

lol just bustin ur *****, nice! i raced a 5.0 5speed yesterday we were just about the same, i had the low end he had the top end, raced from 20 roll then from a 40 roll, both times one of us got a jump then caught up and were fender to fender not moving front nor back lol was pretty fun..
guy said he was stock..
i have a hot air intake and flowmasters res/delete but i also have 20's so im sure that puts me back to stock

Better drivers you know? They should be low 13s/high 12s with minimal mods where we require some finesse to get there...but I'll chill on the magazine racing and chalk up a win for the MC.

didnt know the mach 1 was any different than a gt thought it was more appearance or leather or something

The heck they aren't quicker than a GT. The mach 1 has a 4.6 Liter DOHC mod motor with camshafts slightly different from the 2001 Cobra.

They also have a shaker hood, which is the same as the SS's, for Ram-Air.

The Mach 1's have about the same horsepower as the LS4's but they have a lot more torque. He should have pulled a little better imo.

Nice win regardless though.

It's a stock car (just muffler swap to Flowmasters). We both had bad launches, I spun pretty bad and he didn't launch hard enough. Anyway, they're pretty equal. The machs are 32v engines where GTs are only 16v.
