No problem boss I bought the Intense Fenderwell LS4 intake. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to work with the Imps/MCSS's since they said to just push the fender bracket and yeah I had no clue what the hell they meant. I sent the guy pictures and talked to him on the phone. Wound up just putting the filter off the MAF on top of the ECM, prolly not a good idea since it was that close to the engine bay soakin in heat.

I hope you make a sweet setup that works!

I told him I had put a custom cai ,when he saw it he said that was the problem and suggest to wrap the exhaust. My question is if the K&N air filter is to close to the engine since I put it rigtht after the maf instead of putting a piece of piping (5 in ) after the maf then the K&N air filter or do I just wrap the exhaust ?If so what type of exhaust wrap? I heard of DEI.Thanks in advance.
I wouldn't get to concerned with it. The only time your IAT will get high is during traffic and who races in traffic? I have a similar intake on my GTP and I usually see only 10 degrees above ambient. Tappeters design looks pretty good.

FYI, relocating the IAT is only tricking the computer.

you dont want to go crazy with it..i just ovelapped mine about a 1/4'' each time around...if you do it too much it will hold moisture.....i put the spray on after i had it all wrapped and secured.

I'm pretty sure you have to cut out part of the engine bay to get that intake to fit on an Impala/Monte.
