time to cam?
time to cam? I know i have posted a few times about this recently but i have my engine apart for engine issues and it wouldn't be hard to do a cam swap at this point since i am down to just the block. I have 1.8 roller rockers on and lsx oil restrictive pushrods. Would that be compatible with an ls6 cam? Also do you guys think its worth swapping cams? will i see a big gain on the ls4?

I think you would see some decent gains with your other mods. Specifically your ported intake and exhaust bits. I believe the intake is the major restriction to making power on the little V8's. A cam would get along well with your better valve springs. An LS6 cam and the 1.8 rockers might be too much for the DOD lifters. Maybe something along the lines of LS1 lobes on a 111 or 112 LSA. Be a little more peaky, but should be easier to launch and pull from the mid to up top something fierce! That assumes you can program the throttle by wire to get along with that much of a change.
