every time i see the factory wheels i think about putting them back on. i hated them at first but theyre starting to grow on me.

I feel the same way, their just sitting there. Even more so if they were black, like that one person that posted how they did theirs some time ago.

Every time I see the factory wheels it makes me thanksful that I replaced them. I'm dreading putting them back on for winter.

im still thinking of stripping the clear coat and trying to really polish the **** out of them. they just werent shiney enough for me and the spokes are a little too wide, but theyre growing on me.

I felt the same way... went on ebay and found a set of the chrome ones for under $400... I think there are still some cheap sets on there too.

It is invaluable not having to buy a new set of tires for your new set of rims.

yeah detriot wheel and tire had the chrome ones brand new for 600. when i bought my alcoas but i didnt like how you cant see the brakes at all with that giant center section. who knows maybe ill sell mine and try and find a chrome set.

Heck that's one of the reasons I like the factory wheels... to hide the tiny over-worked factory brakes.

I might be interested if you decide to sell your factory wheels. I am the second owner of my 06 SS and the person who bought the car new ordered it with a set of aftermarket wheels from GM. They are the same size, just don't like 'em.

those look like the polished ones. the chrome ones are even shinier than that as far as from what I've seen
