Made it to the track, bone stock numbers:
1st run
60ft 2.248
1/8 9.324 @76.007
1/4 14.465 @ 93.934 (I was greatly disappointed in a 93mph trap, I thought that I had just bought the ultimate turd, turns out that you should NOT let these cars shift into 3rd before the 1/4 mile as I had read before but I had to find out for myself I guess)
2nd run
60ft 2.127
1/8 9.152 @ 76.634
1/4 14.187 @ 98.746
3rd run
60ft 2.097
1/8 9.071 @ 76.848
1/4 14.124 @ 96.870
4th run
60ft 2.605 (got a little too greedy with the launch on this one)
1/8 9.682 @ 76.640
1/4 14.741 @ 96.790
5th run
60ft 2.128
1/8 9.113 @76.820
1/4 14.150 @ 98.174
The car is 100% stock and running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's, 35,6xx miles. I was hoping to trap 100mph or land a 13.99 which both obviously eluded me. I thought I had my 13 second slip on the 3rd pass, but the mph just wasnt there. But, overall I'm happy with the car's performance in stock form and had a good time. I did manage to put it on a kid in a fox-body cobra (run 5) so that was an added bonus
Just wanted to share some numbers with you guys.Joe.
Nice one with the fox, I beat 2 LS1's and a LS2 GTO last friday. I won't make a thread on it because it's impossible to beat those cars lol. But I cut 'em down at the tree and they obviously didn't know how to drive.
Gotta love these GXP.

My technique was to brake stall just a few rpm above idle, so it wouldnt flash the converter, then once the lights hit I basically stabbed the throttle half way and then once I felt no spin I mashed it to the floor. I think track prep had A LOT to do with it as well.
Thanks for all the kind words guys! I cant wait to mod this thing, I love it more and more every day!
Joe.
