Most likely it'll be an LS swapped 3rd gen on the bottle. Only time will tell...

I figure it'll be enough to move me up a bracket around here. The 13 second bunch is getting thinned out.

Rather than welding the merge collector to the downpipe, I'm considering a v-band clamp. It's a bit of extra welding, but should mean I only have to install the rear header once.

Anyone else considered this?

To those who have the Hogan catted down pipe, who may be looking to get rid of it when their headers come in, hit me with a PM. I'd be interested in taking a lightly used one off some ones hands. If any one has one that is willing to part with it, for a good price, let me know. Thanks guy!

So I got both front and rear banks on. Not that bad to do. I have to wait till tomarrow to get the straight pipe to replace the cat. I need to do some spring cleaning in the engine bay too.

Anyone know if the finish will change colors from that mirror-like shine?

I'd think they would fade, but maybe not for a while. I've had ceramic coated headers on 2 Ford trucks, and they eventually got some surface rust.

20SS06 - Call them. When I found out they were done and ready to ship, I called and paid in full. I never gave the $100 deposit. I called and paid and he said they would be shipped out that day.

No hoist. Doing it in my garage with jackstands. I had the chain ready to rock the engine foward for more clearance, but once I took off the valve cover, the rear bank slid right out. The instructions that they give are decent. I think the only thing that wasnt on there was that I had to take out the oil dipstick. No big deal.

I followed the directions when I needed to. I took off the crossover then the front bank. Then I put on the front header. Then I took out the downpipe and cat. Then rear coils, wires, plugs, and valve cover. Took out the old, put in the new.

The hardest part was wrestling the old manifolds out. The headers slid in so easy. Just like butter.

I would say I have about 4 hrs in and maybe 2 more left. I am doing a shift kit too. I might wrap the crossover.
