I took mine off myself, and the local shop charged me $20 to cut the pipe and weld the cutout in. This is mine.

hey this is really helpful except i was wondering does anyone know how much it would cost to have the cutout installed at the dp

Shouldn't be anymore than mine, it's like a foot and a half from the downpipe, if they have to use their lift and take it off themselves' they'll charge more. Of course, if they do, it'll be a proper fit and not a guess on how to face the cutout.

what size is that pipe? It looks kinda small.

2.5"... It's what the rest of the MagnaFlow plumbing is, even though I only have the mufflers installed.

on a lightly modified car cutouts yeild about 5-10hp gain uptop, i wonder what it would do for a heavily modified car

5-10 is a good estimate it was def enough to feel and mine is not even close to the dp lets face it mufflers are restrictive the LS4 buick lost three hp just from that change
