I saw the 04+ pods on ZZP. Would they fit in a MCSS?

It has to be one that goes over the original A pillar trim since the monte's A trim goes all the way to the back if you look at it.

Is this for an 06+ Monte Carlo? There are no gauge pods for the 06+ Impalas, and I assume the Monte Carlo has the same A-Pillar setup. No one shows much interest in getting a gauge pod for our cars.

I have one, never ended up installing it fully with gauges.

I'm going to guess and say you were asking me if I made it...and the answer is no.

I bought one for a 00-05 MCSS and I ended up trimming the ends of it with tin snips to make it work. It fits just fine. I never actually screwed the piece in because I didn't follow through with buying my gauges after I sold the bottle and the kit out of the car.

It is sitting in my garage right now though, I'm tinkering with the idea of dropping in a trans temp, oil temp, and a third of my choice, maybe and AFR but I dont really know how to hook the gauges up to read correctly.

This is what I did in my Monte Carlo. Just some black plastic cut to fit in the vent areas and a hole in the lower part of the dash for the air/fuel gauge.

That looks good. I didn't realize it, but the Monte Carlo dash is a little different from the Impala's.

I added my gauges in the console area.

I still want to add at least one more gauge (boost).

I posted some directions on how I installed my Oil Temp and Voltmeter gauges. You can check out this thread for more info:

Our console isn't flat though...I already tried that idea.

I went with a generic steering column gauge pod since I only have one. it looks slightly different than this now, since I no longer am using a swivel pod, but you get the idea.

As with anything, get enough people and someone will. Can't blame companies for not taking the initiative on a car that is typically owned by old people and for fleet usage haha. NAIOA got the group buy from Lotek going for the 00-05 Impala's and now anyone can buy it. Don't remember how they turned out, but any company that makes them will do something if you actually get people together and give them a reason to make it.
